We are @textiletrunk ~ This beautiful distressed bedcover is a French monochromatic toile and dates to approximately 1860s - it has a gorgeous pattern and the most lovely turkey red backing! This piece is quite distressed and timeworn - see condition description below - but it would be gorgeous in a timeworn period interior! This would also be perfect for someone with creative hands to deconstruct and repurpose into pillow covers, lampshades, or other decorative pieces - how gorgeous would pillows out of this fabric be, with the turkey red backing on the back of the pillows, to keep the fabrics together! The hand mends are glorious! MEASUREMENTS : The main rectangular panel of this lovely bedcover measures approximately 74 inches wide by 75 inches long; the additional rectangular panel at the bottom to drape over the foot of the bed measures approximately 43 inches wide and has an approximately 18 inch drop. CONDITION: This lovely cover has been freshly laundered and is ready to use! It is fabulously distressed; while the backing is in better condition (with some hand mends and small holes and threadbare places), the front piece with the toile is distressed and there are many holes, etc. See photos and use the zoom feature to see more details.
